Bergen County Residents and Businesses Who Have Helped the Ukraine Support Effort
Lightbridge Academy of Mahwah it teaming up with other locations to donate over $30,000 to families who have been impacted. They are giving funds to Baranova 27, who will determine the best use for the donations. If you would like to contribute, contact your local Lightbridge Academy center.
Carlos Rendo, Mayor of Woodcliff Lake, teamed up with Ukrainian couple Ola and Tim to send teddy bears to Ukrainian refugee children. Ola and Tim have set up a Go Fund Me and are collecting thermal underwear and socks at their home. For more information, click https://gofund.me/467cf2d2.
Kayal Orthopaedic Center donated $10,000 to the Samaritan’s Purse efforts for Ukraine and $10,000 for World Vision’s work in Ukraine.

Thermal clothing and socks
Non-perishable food
Protective military gear such as tactical backpack, helmets, boots, gloves, and dry food rations
Hygiene products, especially sanitary napkins, tampons, diapers, shower items
Tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, mattresses
Medical supplies, band-aids, antibiotics, bandages, first aid kits, over-the-counter pain relief, anti-septic wipes, vitamins
How You Can Help:
Baranova27 is an organization founded by the father of "Dancing With the Stars" professionals Maksim and Valentin Chmerkovskiy. They have been a huge resource for donations. Their drop-off location is 2060 Hudson Street, Fort Lee. They have been inundated with donations and have set up an Amazon wish list, so people can go on the website and order items directly from there.
The Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Ascension Cathedral in Clifton is collecting donations.

St Philip’s Church in Saddle Brook is partnering with the City of Hackensack to collect items for those affected by the war. Residents interested in donating to Ukrainians affected can drop off these items in the donation box at the city hall in Hackensack.
Be the Change NJ has an Amazon wish list for supplies for Ukraine. They are gathering medical supplies, items for children, and toiletries to ship to Poland for refugees. For more information, see their website at https://www.bethechangenj.org/.
